This 1949 vintage Glen Grant Speyside single malt was bottled in 2014 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Rare Vintages series after maturing for 65 years.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Distillery Information

Glen Grant is a distillery founded in 1840 in Rothes, Speyside, that produces single malt Scotch whisky. Previously owned by Chivas Brothers Ltd, best known for their Chivas Regal blended scotch whisky, Glen Grant was purchased[2] by the Italian company Campari Group in December 2005.
