Gordon & Macphail have some good stocks of old Glen Grant to draw on, as shown by this incredible 1950 vintage bottling, released in 2007 at 57 years old.

Nose: Delightful aroma.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: Smooth & lingering.

Distillery Information

Glen Grant is a distillery founded in 1840 in Rothes, Speyside, that produces single malt Scotch whisky. Previously owned by Chivas Brothers Ltd, best known for their Chivas Regal blended scotch whisky, Glen Grant was purchased[2] by the Italian company Campari Group in December 2005.
