Detailed Description

A special edition of Macallan 10yo, selected by disgraced former Speaker of the House of Commons Michael Martin for sale at the tourist shop in the Houses of Parliament. An interesting historical piece, as Martin was forced to resign shortly after this version had appeared, meaning it was only available for a very short time.

Macallan 10 Year Old Speaker Martin’s Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: Rich and smooth.

Distillery Information

Macallan was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then we have built a reputation as one of the world’s leading single malt whiskies. The creation of The Macallan draws on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland Рand of their respective natural raw materials, combined with traditional methods and craftsmanship.
