Detailed Description

A very rare distillery bottling of whicky now-closed Glenesk. The distillery closed in 1985 and has since been dismantled, with the buildings now used for malting barley.

Glenesk 5 Year OldmHighland Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: This is extremely smoky with exceptionally balanced in flavour.

Finish: Smooth & lingering.

Glenesk started its life as a malt Whisky distillery, then evolved into a single grain Whisky distillery, then returned to a malt Whisky distillery once again.
