Another edition of Clynelish for Diageo’s yearly vintaged Distiller’s Edition range. Clynelish’s take on the series’ ‘Double Maturation’ is to finish the whisky in oloroso sherry casks, to add an extra chunk of rich sweetness.

Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Light and elegant as it ends, the last hint of smoke slowly fading out.
Distillery Information
Clynelish Distillery is a distillery near Brora, Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland. The original distillery was built in 1819, adjacent to the new Clynelish. The original Clynelish closed in the year 1968 as the new Clynelish distillery had been built in 1967.
