Description

Detailed Description

A 2009 Bunnahabhain single malt from indie bottler North Star Spirits, matured in a first-fill oloroso sherry cask for 11 years, before being bottled in October 2020. Aromas of gingerbread men, raisins and creamy vanilla fill the nose, complimented by notes of sweet sherry, treacle tarts and vanilla toffee.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell.
