Detailed Description

This incredible sherried Bunnahabhain is the sixth release in Blackadder’s Statement series. Distilled in 1990 and aged in a single butt for 22 years, this combines the classic unpeated Islay spirit with dark chocolate flavour from the wood.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

The Bunnahabhain Distillery was founded in 1881 near Port Askaig on Islay. The village of Bunnahabhain was founded to house its workers. The distillery is owned by Distell.
