A 21-year-old single cask Benrinnes, originally bottled for our friends at Scotch Malt Sales for release on the Japanese market.

Benrinnes 21 Year Old Scotch Malt Sales Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: Teasing, heathery, delicious.

Distillery Information

Benrinnes is a malt whisky distillery in Aberlour producing an eponymous whisky. It was founded in 1826, and is still active. The distillery employed a unique partial triple distillation process until 2007.
