Made in 2007 at Benrinnes distillery, this Speyside single malt was matured in a single cask for 11 years, before being bottled in August 2011 by indie bottler Mossburn for its Vintage Casks series.

Nose: A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: A very long finish.

Distillery Information

Benrinnes is a malt whisky distillery in Aberlour producing an eponymous whisky. It was founded in 1826, and is still active. The distillery employed a unique partial triple distillation process until 2007.
