Detailed Description
A 2013 addition to The Balvenie’s range, as a younger sibling to the 15 Year Old single cask. This is exclusively matured in first-fill bourbon casks and each bottle is part of a batch that is at most 300 bottles – all taken from the same cask.
Balvenie 12 Year Old Single Barrel First Fill Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Syrupy honey up front, with floral notes, sweet apples, toasted oats and coconut.
Palate: Buttered toast with honey, cinnamon sugar, vanilla cream, caramel and sweet fruit.
Finish: Finish is smooth and long.
