Detailed Description
An old grain whisky from closed Carsebridge, matured for more than 30 years and bottled by La Maison du Whisky as part of the impressive 7th release of whiskies in the Artist range. This was distilled in 1982, the year before it closed, and spent it’s life bottling bottling in a single hogshead. It is the first single grain bottled for the Artist range, and displays all the elegance and poise you’d expect from a whisky afforded such an honour.
Carsebridge 1982 30 Year Old Artist #7 LMDWSingle Grain Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
Distillery Information
