A 1988 vintage from The Glenrothes, matured for almost 25 years before bottling. The palate has a silky mouthfeel with wonderful rich fruit and a weight and depth that belies its 43% bottling strength.

Nose: Delightful aroma.

Palate: The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice.

Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.

The Glenrothes is a single malt Scotch whisky, produced at the Glenrothes Distillery, beside the Burn of Rothes in the Speyside region. The Glenrothes is used in blended scotch whiskies such as Cutty Sark and The Famous Grouse.
