A 1984 vintage Glenfarclas released as part of the distillery’s Summer 2014 releases of The Family Casks. Aged in hogshead 6032, this was bottled on 27 March 2014.

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.

Finish: Long lasting smokiness.

Distillery Information

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
