A 1965 vintage release from Glenfarclas as part of the Spring 2015 outturn of bottlings in the Family Casks range. Matured for more than 45 years in a sherry butt and bottled on 1 December 2014.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate: Sweet, smooth and with a real oak flavour.
Finish: This is a very light and refreshing malt.
Distillery Information
Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
