The Glenfarclas Family Cask series is an ongoing range of single-cask bottlings from the family’s extensive collection, which spans seven decades. This 1955 bottling is one of the oldest in the range and is a marvellous gift for anyone for whom 1955 was a significant year.

Nose: Very clean and appetising, with a gentle floral character.
Palate: A splendid taste with a warm feel to it. Not to smoky but silky smooth.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.

Glenfarclas distillery is a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
