Detailed Description
One of a string of single cask 1968 Glen Gariochs bottled in the late 1990s at 29 years old. 29 years old! You wouldn’t get too many whisky companies doing that these days, so kudos to then-owners Morrison Bowmore for bottling when the time was right instead of waiting another year.

Distillery Information
The Glen Garioch distillery (pronounced Glen Geerie) was founded around 1797 by the Manson brothers, although many claim it was in fact Thomas Simpson. Different sources tell different stories. It is located in Oldemldrum, a small town in the Highlands famous for producing the finest barley in all of Scotland.
