Whyte & Mackay’s now-defunct range for older whiskies was called the Stillman’s Dram. This is a 1980 vintage Dalmore, a distillery whose bottles now appear with a rather different look.

Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
Finish: Very smooth and flavorful.
Distillery Information
The Dalmore Distillery is located in Alness, which is 20 miles North of Inverness. It sits on the banks of the Cromarty Firth overlooking the Black Isle, the “big meadowland”, from which it takes its name.
