Made in 1969 at Dallas Dhu distillery, this Speyside single malt has been matured in a refill sherry hogshead for half a century, before being bottled in 2019 for Gordon & MacPhail’s Private Collection.

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: Very smooth and flavorful.

Distillery Information

The Dallas Dhu distillery was a producer of single malt Scotch whisky that operated between 1899 and 1983. Dallas Dhu means “Black Water Valley” in Gaelic. Its whisky also appeared as a “Dallas Mhor” single malt. In 1899, Alexander Edward designed the Dallas Dhu distillery at the height of the whisky boom.
