Detailed Description
Matured for 14 years in amontillado-sherry seasoned hogsheads, this rich and fruity 2004 Cardhu has been bottled as part of Diageo’s 2019 Special Releases. Aromas of caramel, hazelnut, almonds, pastry, waxed lemons, wood polish and raisins mingle on the nose. The palate offers notes of zesty lemons, burnt toffee, toasted oak, rich fruit cake and chocolate sauce, before developing warm baking spice and ginger cake flavours that linger in the finish.

Distillery Information
Clynelish Distillery is a distillery near Brora, Sutherland in the Highlands of Scotland. The original distillery was built in 1819, adjacent to the new Clynelish. The original Clynelish closed in the year 1968 as the new Clynelish distillery had been built in 1967.
