A 1975 Benromach single malt, matured in a single refill sherry hogshead before being bottled in 2019 as part of the distillery’s Heritage series.

Benromach Heritage 1975 Sherry Cask Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice.

Finish: Medium length & Spicy.

Distillery Information

Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin. It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside.
