Detailed Description

From Batch 15 of Benriach’s Single Cask bottlings, this 20-year-old single malt has been aged in a virgin oak hogshead, cask number 7859. All whiskies in Batch 15 are non-chill-filtered, individually hand-numbered and bottled at natural colour.

Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.

Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Finish: A very long finish.

Distillery Information

The BenRiach distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in the Speyside area of Scotland. It is currently owned by Brown-Forman Corporation after being purchased on 1 June 2016 as a subsidiary from the BenRiach Distillery Company Limited, formed by two South African funding partners, Geoff Bell and Wayne Keiswetter, and Scotch whisky expert Billy Walker.
