A 1992 Ardbeg single malt from indie bottler Hunter Laing, matured in a single cask for 28 years, before being bottled as part of its Kinship series for Virtual Feis Ila 2020.

Ardbeg 1992 28 Year Old Edition #2 The Kinship Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Some floral and malty hints.

Palate: There is a much greater presence of peat in the taste than the nose suggests. The smokiness quickly hits the palate and then tapers off.

Finish: Finish is long, spicy and smooth.

Ardbeg Distillery is a Scotch whisky distillery in Ardbeg on the south coast of the isle of Islay, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, in the Inner Hebrides group of islands. The distillery is owned by Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, and produces a heavily peated Islay whisky.
